With almost three decades of combined experience, Grover and Matt have coached players at every level, from Tour professionals and collegiate athletes to weekend golfers and beginners. Their approach combines elite coaching knowledge with advanced technology to create a complete picture of your game and a clear path for improvement.

At Bluegrass Golf Academy, our lessons are built around one goal: helping golfers improve through clear, effective coaching backed by world-class technology. Whether you want to fine tune one part of your game or fully evaluate your performance from tee to green, every session provides actionable feedback that leads to real improvement on the course.

Our coaching team works with players of all ages and skill levels, from beginners learning the fundamentals to competitive golfers pursuing elite performance. By combining experience, advanced data analysis, and a simple instructional approach, we help golfers better understand their swing, build confidence, and create lasting results.

We offer three lesson types designed for different goals and commitment levels.

  • Single Lesson: Focused instruction on a specific area of your game using TrackMan data and video analysis, perfect for players looking for targeted improvement.
  • Gears3D: A complete analysis of your swing, movement patterns, and equipment using industry-leading technology, along with a detailed improvement blueprint created by Grover and Matt.
  • Putting Lesson: A unique lesson covering every aspect of your putting stroke, from setup to speed control drills, helping you dial in the most important club in your bag.

LESSONS

Single lesson

Our Single Lesson option is designed for golfers who want focused, one-on-one coaching without requiring a membership or previous visit to the academy. Whether you are working through a swing issue, improving ball striking, or sharpening a specific part of your game, each session is tailored to your goals and skill level.

Lessons take place in a TrackMan bay and include high speed video analysis to provide clear, data-driven feedback you can immediately apply on the course. With coaching from Grover or Matt, players receive simple, effective instruction designed to create lasting improvement without overcomplicating the game.

Each session includes a minimum of 30 minutes of coaching, with the flexibility to focus on the area of your game that needs the most attention. From beginners to experienced players, our goal is to help you leave with a better understanding of your swing and a clear plan for improvement.

LESSONS

Gears 3d

Using Gears 3D motion capture, TrackMan data, Smart2Move force plates, and advanced putting analysis, they identify the true cause of swing inefficiencies instead of simply treating symptoms. Every assessment is built to remove the guesswork and create a motion that is simple, repeatable, and built to perform under pressure.

The Full Game Assessment is designed to evaluate every area of your game, including full swing mechanics, putting performance, equipment setup, and movement patterns. By the end of the session, you will leave with a detailed understanding of your strengths, weaknesses, and the exact steps needed to improve.

PUtting lesson

Our Putting Lesson is designed for golfers who want to better understand their stroke, improve consistency, and build more confidence on the greens. Each session takes a detailed look at every part of your putting, from setup and alignment to stroke path, face control, and speed.

With coaching from Grover or Matt, players receive simple, focused instruction along with drills designed to improve distance control and create a more repeatable stroke. Whether you struggle with short putts, lag putting, or overall consistency, the goal is to help you leave with a better understanding of your putting stroke and a clear plan for improvement.

HOW TO SCHEDULE A LESSON

From the app, click on "Book" in the bottom options bar.

When you select the type of appointment you want to book, you will be provided with the open bay spots, and the time ranges they are available for.

After selecting your bay and the time range that suits your schedule, you will be provided a list of the available time slots for that bay. Select your prefered time.  Press "continue" if everything looks accurate.

With your time slot selected, you will be shown a summary of your appointment, the bay, time slot and the price for your booking.

BGA does offer this on a very limited basis outside of the normal academy hours. These lessons are only 50 minutes in a trackman bay with high speed video.

Whatever you are most comfortable in! Golf shoes are not required, if worn we ask that they are free of grass from the course!
